In terms of innovation, Aqua Regia might just be one of the most groundbreaking mods out there. The mod revolves around acids and implements multitudes of acids into Minecraft, and this adds a whole lot of depth to Minecraft’s gameplay. Acids are something that you wouldn’t expect to go well with Minecraft’s gameplay, but as it turns out, they actually make it a lot more enjoyable and engaging. Through the Aqua Regia, you’ll be able to pull off a lot of new things that would otherwise be simply impossible in vanilla Minecraft, so it’s definitely worth checking out if you want to add something fresh to your Minecraft experience.
It’s important to keep in mind that Aqua Regia is still an experimental mod so a lot of its features are in testing stages due to which it’s likely that these features might see major changes in the near future if the developer feels that they’re necessary. In order to create an acid, all you need to do is mine some Salt, Sulfur, and Niter. Once you have the necessary ores at your disposal, all you have to do is combine them with a bucket of Neutral Water and the ratio in which you combine these items together will determine the type of acid you end up. There’s a lot of depth to this mod, so experimentation is definitely recommended. As of right now, the mod has six different acids for players to put together but more will probably be added later on.
One clever way to utilize the Aqua Regia mod is by using it to create the Aqua Regia acid and then dissolving gold in this acid. Once you have the dissolved gold, all you have to do is precipitate it with more sulfur and then smelt the entire thing into regular ingots. Through this method, you’ll be able to get significantly more gold out of the same amount of ore.
