Battle of Gods is a category defining map that promises to give players one of the most immersive experiences that they can have in Minecraft. The map’s definitely ambitious but it manages to deliver on all of its ambitions thereby leading to some absolutely phenomenal gameplay that players are sure to enjoy. The map basically manages to implement full-fledged MOBA gameplay into Minecraft and, while this might sound like a far-fetched task, it map somehow pulls it off and actually does it quite nicely. If you’re a fan of MOBA games or simply want an immersive Minecraft map that’s unlike any other then Battle of Gods is the way to go.
The Battle of Gods map functions pretty much exactly like a MOBA game does. In this map, you’ll be able to play as a god and will be able to choose from 8 different gods. Each god on the map has access to a unique set of abilities that they can utilize to annihilate enemies. What’s most impressive is that each god feels unique in terms of gameplay and this gives the map a lot of replay value since you’ll be able to play with a different god every time things start to become repetitive.
The Battle of Gods also comes with two different game modes for players to enjoy. The first is the multiplayer mode in which your goal is to recover three relics from the Kronos tower and take them back to your biome. This might sound like an easy task on paper but it’ll be a challenging thing to do because you’ll also have to go against enemy players who will be trying to do the same thing. The second mode is the single player mode in which you’ll get to play as Kronos himself and will get the chance to fight waves upon waves of mobs in order to recover the three stolen relics and bring them back to your tower.
