The Better Bedrock Gen mod is pretty easy to figure out. It alters the spawning habits of bedrock so the hardest substance in Minecraft will only spawn on a single Y layer, rather than all over the underground below Y:8 or so, like it does in vanilla Minecraft. So why would anyone want this mod? Well, if you’re fond of digging to the bottom of the world to set up a home, this will allow you to have some fine bedrock floors once you get there, but more importantly it will give you a nice, flat surface to build upon. There’s more to it than that, as well.
On factions servers and other servers where griefers are a regular thing, having any side of your house made from bedrock pretty much guarantees nobody can break in, not even with a TNT cannon, which has been known to break obsidian. So, if you’re a host for some factions server and you want to bring in more players, do be sure to mention you have the Better Bedrock Gen mod installed – people take notice of stuff like this and they will certainly come check it out. Also, don’t forget you need C4Lib to make this mod function as intended. That’s easy enough to find in the same place you find this mod.
In short, that’s all you get from the Better Bedrock Gen mod. There are no new blocks, no new monsters, no new items, gear, materials or other drops to find. This mod is more of a utility than anything, giving you a flat surface at the bottom of the world as opposed to the random allotment of bedrock you normally see once you dig down deep enough. Thanks to the lack of content and changes, even purists will like this mod.

C4Lib for 1.11.2? I can’t find it on curseforge or curse. Does this mod have c4lib built in for the 1.11.2 version? If not where can I get c4lib?
