Calorie Reduced Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.10.2

The Calorie Reduced pack is a really high-quality pack that you actually might recognize if you’ve used Kyctarniq’s Photo Based resource pack before. The Photo Based pack is an extremely high-quality resource pack that a lot of players have enjoyed but, one thing that holds some people back from using it, is the fact that it has a slightly higher than usual resolution and this makes it run quite slow on low-end PCs. Fortunately, the Calorie Reduced pack has been built for players who’ve always wanted to enjoy the visuals of those pack without compromising on performance.

Calorie Reduced shares a ton of similarities with the Photo Based pack, and this is, of course, to be expected since the pack is meant to be a lighter version of the Photo Based pack. However, thankfully, the pack has a bunch of unique elements of its own that set it apart a little from the pack that it’s based on and make it feel unique. Perhaps the biggest change that you’ll notice between the two is the fact that the colors of the Calorie Reduced are a bit brighter and this bright color palette is a nice change as it helps elevate the textures even more.

One minor flaw in the Calorie Reduced resource pack that didn’t exist in the Photo Based pack is the fact that some of its textures have a bit of noise in them. The amount of noise is pretty tiny, so it won’t hinder your experience all that much, but this is still something worth pointing out. The pack’s resolution is x16, so you’ll have absolutely no trouble getting it to run even on low-end PCs.

How to install Calorie Reduced Resource Pack?

1. Start Minecraft.
2. Click “Options” in the start menu.
3. Click “resource packs” in the options menu.
4. In the resource packs menu, click “Open resource pack folder”.
5. Put the .zip file you downloaded in the resource pack folder.
