The Confusion map is a very innovative Minecraft map that takes a distinct and unique approach to the way it approaches its gameplay. One trait that all parkour maps share with each other is that they’re quite challenging and often strain the skills of players to the absolute limits. The challenge of parkour maps is mainly due to the fact that they have lots of obstacles and hurdles that players need to navigate around, and there are various difficult jumps that they need to make. However, this map offers a refreshing twist and offers some very exciting gameplay that’s definitely unlike anything else that players have experienced before in this map category.
The key reason Confusion is different is that it utilizes strange color patterns to confuse players and make them think twice about where they’re navigating. Of course, it still has lots of crazy jumps and obstacles that need to be dealt with, but these are more of a secondary focus. The color layout of this map makes it incredibly difficult to judge the height and often times it will be set in a way that will make you think that a block is there even though it isn’t and this leads to a whole lot of hilarious scenarios in which players fall off due to all the confusion.
The trick to mastering the Confusion map is to memorize its entire layout. Of course, this does mean that you’ll probably have to run through it a bunch of times, but it’s all worth it because the feeling of satisfaction that you’ll get upon successfully going through the entirety of it will be second to none. Just remember to turn smooth lighting off in order to make this map play out exactly as it’s supposed to.
