Darkness on Innistrad is an addicting adventure map that’s perfect for players who are looking for the classical adventure map experience without any over the top features. One characteristic that we’ve noticed in a lot of modern day adventure maps is that they try to implement various kinds of new features into the mix and, while these features often add a lot of depth to the gameplay, there’s still an audience of players that dislikes them because they completely alter the way these maps are played. The Darkness on Innistrad map takes place in the town of Innistrad. The town was once a tranquil place where you, a once happy citizen with a loving family, resided. However, one day, things started changing and the idols that the people of Innistrad once worshipped because the very villains that started causing havoc in the city. The issues seemed minor at first but, as time went by, people started disappearing, and creepy things started happening. Now, you’ve taken it upon yourself to get to the source of the trouble and eliminate it to restore the town back to its once peaceful and prosperous state.
As for the gameplay, Darkness on Innistrad is absolutely top tier. The map has pretty much every single gameplay feature that you’d expect to see in a top-of-the-line adventure map, so you’re going to be hooked from the first minute to the last. Throughout your journey through the town of Innistrad, you’ll get to solve puzzles, slay mobs, explore places, run through parkour sequences and do a ton of other fun stuff. All said and done, Darkness on Innistrad is a superb adventure map that promises to deliver a full-fledged experience without any unnecessary gameplay elements.
