Dirtbike Mod for Minecraft 1.7.10

Like the name suggests, the Dirtbike Mod implements dirtbikes in Minecraft, allowing players to move faster than normally possible by crafting and then riding the titular vehicle. It works with versions of Minecraft right up to 1.7.10, though it doesn’t yet work with 1.8. You’ll want Minecraft Forge 1.6.4 before you even try installing this, because the mod was made specifically to work with that software. Like other Forge mods, you could try to manually install this mod yourself, but this would almost guarantee you run into unnecessary bugs or crashes somewhere down the line. It isn’t recommended.

While other mods add tons of content to Minecraft, the Dirtbike Mod only adds one item – the dirtbike itself. This isn’t the kind of mod for people who like to extensively change the way Minecraft works, but it’s perfect for people who just want to get around faster without hunting for hard-to-find dungeons and hoping they get a saddle so they can even ride a horse in the first place. That said, the dirtbike still goes faster than a horse, so even if you were to go through all that, with this mod installed, you would still have faster alternatives at your fingertips.
