Dragon Mounts 2 is a successor to the original Dragon Mounts mod that was designed by barracudaATA4. The original mod received quite a bit of critical acclaim and praise from players but it lacked in certain areas and this held it back from being a truly exceptional mod. Dragon Mounts 2, on the other hand, is a mod by TheRPGAdventurer and has been crafted to provide players with the same delightful features that the original did while simultaneously improving in areas that its predecessor lacked in. Overall, Dragon Mounts 2 is a worthwhile mod that you won’t be let down with.
The core functionality of the Dragon Mounts 2 mod revolves around the fact that it makes the ender dragon eggs in Minecraft hatch-able and, when they’ve hatched, you’ll actually be able to tame the dragon that comes from within them. Once the dragon has been tamed, you’ll be able to climb atop it and soar the skies at incredibly high speeds. Using a dragon as a mount is one of the most exhilarating experiences that Minecraft has to offer and this is exactly what makes this mod worth giving a shot to.
Alongside the standard dragon itself, the Dragon Mounts 2 mod also features special firebreathing dragons that can wreak havoc on absolutely anything in their path, dragon armor that has some insane stats and a variety of different tools that you can craft and use in various ways. Although the core feature of this mod is the dragon mount aspect, we highly recommend using the armor and tools that come with it because they’re actually extremely useful in a variety of different scenarios and are definitely worth having in your inventory. All said and done, Dragon Mounts 2 is a great mod that you shouldn’t pass up on at all.
