When you talk about parkour maps in Minecraft, which ones come to mind? No doubt some players will immediately think of The Dropper or its sequel thanks to the innovative way in which those maps use the environment to try and kill the player. Though it might not be at the top of many player lists, the Dungeon Runner 2 map is another fun place to practice parkour jumps and leaps. It’s basically a huge dungeon the player has to run through, platforming like they were Super Mario or something. As the player progresses through the dungeon, it becomes fewer stone blocks and much more lava.
Because the jumps become progressively more difficult (and even deadly), the Dungeon Runner 2 map probably makes some players angry. It’s not a kind map and the learning curve is brutal, which means players will be jumping, falling and dying over and over before they make it to the end of this one. The most frustrating part is, it won’t be enemies that kill you with damage; it will be your bad jumps and the environment which do you in. If you can deal with dying a lot, you’ll probably get a kick out of trying to clear Dungeon Runner. Otherwise, stick with other parkour maps.
