The Dungeonrunner map series is actually a number of smaller map-making projects all combined into one single map for the sake of ease and convenience. It is a surprisingly short set of maps as well, with the entire series taking less than an hour to complete for players with the skills to get through it quickly. Even slower players will find that Dungeonrunner is easy enough, with no great challenges or puzzles to solve. Just because itโs simple doesnโt mean itโs super easy though. If you have no skills in parkour, survival, and puzzles, you wonโt be making it to the end of this map.
The story behind Dungeonrunner is a simple one. A retired adventurer is forced back out of retirement when a looming evil threatens to destroy his homeland. Itโs pretty standard stuff, nothing too special in that department, but at least thereโs a little lore to tie everything together. The rules of the Dungeonrunner maps are simple too: be sure youโre playing on Survival mode, not Creative; use a medium render distance, preferably 8 chunks; a low brightness setting around 50% is also ideal. The map has signs and other notes to help you through, so just play it if it sounds interesting.
Rules
