Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.8.4

Five Nights at Freddy’s, or FNAF for short, is one of the most frightening video game series to launch in the last few years. It’s loaded with jump scares, but it also features a few key elements which help to intensify the terror. The games are so popular that related content is showing up everywhere – even in Minecraft. The Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 resource pack recreates the setting of the third game in the series and lets players run wild. Naturally, most of the pack is very dark, so any mods that add flashlights or other extra light sources would probably go well with this.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 is just a simple resource pack now, but with some time and work from the modding community it could help make a good facsimile of the actual horror game. With some custom sounds, like the jump scare shrieks, the immersion could be made even more complete. No plans for this are in the works right now, but you never know. Various images from the third game and several textures make an appearance in this resource pack, which really gives Minecraft a dismal look and feel. This is perfect if you want to make your own version of the map from a FNAF game.

Because it’s just a resource pack and doesn’t feature any mods or other custom content, you shouldn’t be disappointed to learn there is no working camera system on this Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 pack. This isn’t such a big deal when you consider there are no animatronics or hallucinations to watch out for in the first place, unless you’re using mods to provide some, in which case you might find a mod to make the cameras work as well.
