The plot of the Gold Rush map is a rather simple one, but it does the job. While out digging for precious metals with your friends, you accidentally dig too deep and end up falling into a chasm. This causes some undead to wake up and start coming after you. True to the mapโs namesake, youโll be harvesting gold while you kill enemies and look for resource blocks to bash apart. Youโll need every bit you can find too since the gold can be traded to NPCs throughout the mines for enchanted weapons and armor as well as other items and equipment that will help you to survive the zombies.
You might think you can make it by just digging into a wall or something and being cheap, and you would be right. But thatโs just not the way maps like this are supposed to be played. If you did that, youโd be wasting your time as well as the authorโs. There are 30 different waves of undead to fight through and the stakes and rewards get steadily higher as the map progresses. There are probably a number of custom maps that are similar to the Gold Rush map in some ways, but it still manages to stand out as a uniquely fun experience.

Hey map creator! Loved the game. It combines OD Zombies and Minecraft into one, provides a good amount of difficulty to complete, and is action packed all the way through. I actually played it with a friend in a split screen video, so if you wanna go check that out , go ahead. Anyways thanks for making the map! -Will (WillTheCrazy8)
