The Ice Cream Sandwich Creeper mod adds a lot of new ice cream items to Minecraft, but it also does something some players might disagree with. Besides giving creepers a number of different looks (and different ice cream drops depending on the flavor of creeper), this mod makes their explosions completely harmless. Not only will they not harm the player, but they will actually create ice cream and related drops around the player. This totally changes the dynamic between the creeper and the player, but this setting can be changed in the config file so the explosions do normal health and environmental damage.

Because they’re made of ice cream, you’ll only find the new critters in the Ice Cream Sandwich Creeper mod in snow environments. You could find them on mountains, taiga and anywhere else you can see a substantial amount of snow. Besides the aesthetic changes, this mod is kind of nice for people playing Hardcore who always seem to run out of food. With this little add on installed, food will literally be everywhere and just as close as the nearest snow biome. It’s a nice enough mod, but there are others which do much more to change Minecraft.
