Islandia 2 – The Clouded Skies is the successor of the original Islandia – The Blackened Sea. The Blackened Sea received a lot of critical acclaim and had over 130,000 downloads because of how well executed it was and now the second release, The Clouded Skies, seems like it’s going to follow in its predecessor’s footsteps as well. Its design shows a lot of finesse and polish, it has been downloaded over 50,000 times and everyone who has ever had the chance to play it has said nothing but positive things about it so it’s a map that’s worth taking a look at if you like RPG adventures.
In Islandia 2 – The Clouded Skies you play the role of Nook who has to battle through countless waves of fierce pirates and evil witches who will stop and do nothing to put an end to him and his quest of uncovering the secret that will change the world for good. The plot might seem fairly generic at first sight but once you’ve actually had the chance of playing this map you’ll see that the plot is actually quite in-depth which makes this map worth playing until the very end.
While the first Islandia supported only two players, Islandia 2 – The Clouded Skies allows four players to play at once in a group so you can embark on an epic adventure alongside your comrades with the comfort of knowing that your friends always have your back. The map features an excellent game world that’s filled with many places to explore, amazing parkour sequences, and some really intuitive puzzles that’ll test even the most skilled of players. There aren’t a lot of noticeable bugs in it and any that might have existed in the past have probably been fixed with the multiple different updates that this map has received over its lifespan.
