The Kitchen Mod is no doubt going to be the mod of choice for players who frequently play Minecraft and want to unleash their cooking skills within the game. It’s a really well-constructed mod that gives players multitudes of options through which they can put together many amazing things in the kitchen. However, while the mod is loaded with a ton of features, one minor drawback to it is the fact that it comes with a fairly steep learning curve so it’ll probably be a while before you’re able to use it proficiently but, one you finally master the mod, it’ll keep you entertained for long periods of time.
The primary purpose of the Kitchen Mod is to give players a variety of different ways through which they can cook, cut and serve their meals. The mod gives players tons upon tons of food items to make such as fully modular sandwiches, waffles, lasagna, pizza and a whole lot more. The most intriguing food items that this mod has are definitely the modular sandwiches because these sandwiches have ten different layers and players can fill these layers exactly according to their preferences. Modular sandwiches require a cutting board so before you can start making them, you’ll have to craft a cutting board.
Alongside the other features, the Kitchen Mod also implements a useful oven into the game that players can utilize to cook their food items by using as little resources as possible and in as little time as possible. This oven is extremely efficient because it allows players to cook four different items of four different types at the same time. The oven also has a really nice smoke particle indicator that tells players when their food items are ready for consumption. However, it’s worth keeping in mind that food can get burnt if it remains in the oven too long, so you’ll need to keep checking up on it.
