Limbo Chapter 1: Transfer Map is the first release in what’s probably going to be a very interesting series of Minecraft maps that are full of mystery and suspense. The map features pretty much every single element that players expect out of a high-quality adventure map such as a solid plot, intriguing gameplay and visuals that are a delight to look at. It’s also one of the longer maps out there since it clocks in at around two hours of play time which is significantly more than traditional adventure maps that usually end within an hour or so.
In Limbo Chapter 1: Transfer you wake up in a mysterious place without having any recollection of any of your past events. The entire thing feels like a dream, and as you look around yourself, you see a whole lot of extremely strange landscapes and sceneries that are unlike anything you’ve seen before. However, this is a dangerous place since many monsters lurk here and at the end of it all there’s a fearsome final boss who you’ll have to defeat in order to get out of this creepy place for good. The map is quite challenging so you might die a few times but it’s nothing overbearing.
There are a few things that you need to keep in mind in order to make the most out of your experience with Limbo Chapter 1: Transfer Map. First and foremost is that it needs to be played in adventure game mode and second is that you need to play it on the hard or normal difficulty to experience it how it was meant to be experienced. The map also features a multiplayer mode so if you want to explore this weird place alongside a friend, then you’re more than welcome to do so.
