Lumina Nocturnale Map for Minecraft 1.8.7

If you’ve ever wanted to construct a massive underwater city in Minecraft but the task was just too daunting for you to take on, don’t despair. Many players face this problem at some point during their Minecraft career, and you aren’t the only one who thought about something great but didn’t put in the time necessary to build it. Fortunately for everyone, TrynePlague1.0 saw fit to make the Lumina Nocturnale map, which is one of the first fully-submerged cities made in Minecraft. It has a real look and feel of Bioshock, or the city of Rapture more specifically, thanks to the ocean.

Lumina Nocturnale is massive and will take ages for even a team of players to peruse, which is recommended since the map has so many dark points that hostile mobs spawning is a guarantee unless playing on Peaceful. Also, you shouldn’t play the map on Peaceful; just saying. There are seven different districts, each with its own unique design scheme and standing up to six stories tall. All around, you’ll see plate glass keeping the water out… and keeping you in. Misa’s HD resource pack comes recommended for this particular map, but it will work fine even with vanilla Minecraft textures.
