Jorvik the Waterfall Village is the perfect Minecraft map for people who want to live near the water without being surrounded by it on all sides like if they were on an island. This map is situated around a developed gorge area where water is abundant and runs in multiple rivers out towards the ocean. There are several massive buildings dotting the village that are big enough to hold whole legions of players though they’re strangely empty aside from the NPC villagers that might spawn in the area. Tall jungles made from thick, old trees surround the gorge village, blocking it from the outside world.
While you could travel off in any direction if you want, that would kind of defeat the purpose of downloading the Jorvik map, right? There is a lot to explore in that gorge, even if it seems like a somewhat limited environment since it is surrounded on all sides by stone, trees or ocean. Specially designed dungeons are waiting to be discovered and conquered, and it’s possible you might run into some very special treasure while you’re checking out the local area. If you’re looking for a map to keep you busy a few days, you could certainly do worse than this one.
