If you’ve ever wanted to take your friends head on in a fast-paced race within Minecraft then the Magma Runner map is just right for you. This is a pretty intense map that features a drop down racing game in which players have to get to the bottom as quickly as they can while simultaneously avoiding the massive pool of magma that’s trying to swallow them. The intuitive gameplay of the game, combined with the various settings through which you can personalize the experience, makes for a ton of enjoyable moments that’ll have you coming back to the map over and over again.
As mentioned above, Magma Runner is a drop down racing game and your goal is to get to the bottom before your opponents. As you make your way through the bottom, you’ll have to maintain a high speed because magma will be falling from above and it’s your job to avoid it at all costs. If magma ever ends up touching you then you’ll lose your life and will then, of course, lose the race to your opponents. The Magma Runner also features a variety of special items through which you can add more depth to your experience and there are several speed settings in the map that basically determine how fast the magma travels.
The Magma Runner map is recommended for multiplayer because it’s a racing map after all but, if you want to fly solo and see if you can avoid the magma, you’ll be allowed to play it in single player as well. It’s important to keep in mind, though, that you can’t use the map’s items if you play it in a single player but this isn’t that big of a deal because there’s actually no need to use them if there aren’t any opponents.
