If you’re tired of playing through puzzle maps alone in Minecraft, you might want to have a look at Me and My Robot map. While this map doesn’t allow you to play with other human entities, it does provide you with a robot that helps you to complete puzzle objectives and get through the map. Your robot friend can be used as a weight to hold down pressure plates and keep paths open for you, the player, allowing you to go through and then open them from the other side so the robot can follow. That’s just the beginning too.
Additionally, the robot can scan whatever block it happens to be standing on and yield a special effect depending on the block. These won’t be spoiled here, but this mechanism is going to be instrumental to finishing the map, so it’s one you’ll want to spend some time with when you first try the Me and My Robot map. Lastly, you can teleport instantly to your robot any time you wish by using a special command. This will help you to backtrack if you get stuck somewhere, or just save you in a pinch if you’re going to end up hurting yourself with a long fall.
