At first sight, Missing Pieces might not seem like a mod that would drastically change the gameplay of Minecraft but, surprisingly enough, it’s actually a pretty useful mod that manages to implement a ton of useful features into the game to make the experience feel more complete. As you can tell by the name, the purpose of this mod is to basically add features into Minecraft that the creator feels should be in the game by default. It’s a top-notch mod and, after using it for a while, you’ll probably never want to stop using it because of how well its features blend into the game.
Onto the specifics of the features, the Missing Pieces mod features chairs that aren’t simply decorations and can actually be sat on, tables made out of various different kinds of woods on which you can place your items and decorations, wedges and ramps that you can use to conveniently go up hills, shelves in which you can store your items neatly and can even put them up for display, lamps that you can place around the game world to illuminate places, patterned blocks that can be used in a variety of different ways and even round pillars that you can utilize in your construction projects.
The Missing Pieces mod mostly implements blocks into the game, so if you’re expecting it to add actual new gameplay mechanics to Minecraft, then you’ll likely be disappointed. The mod fully supports all the rocks and metals from the Mineralogy and Base Metals mod so if you’re using these mods then you won’t need to worry about them having compatibility issues with this particular mod. Missing Pieces is available for all versions of Minecraft ranging from 1.8 to 1.12.2 so you’ll be able to run it just fine as long as you’re on an up to date version of Minecraft.

The only added blocks are the storage drawers which seem to be working fine however the other items don’t seem to be there. I have placed the .jar file into the mods folder and I’m fairly certain the mod itself is working fine, except for the missing elements. Which really is a shame since the ideas and mechanics behind this mod really are great, I just think the usage of the mod itself should be explained a little clearer on the webpage. I’m not sure how to fix this problem, maybe there’s some information I’m missing. If you could reply with any help it would be really appreciated since I am really looking forward to using this mod.
Nevermind, I fixed the mistake. Really cool mod, i can’t wait to see more.
What did you do to fix it? I’v done exactly the same, i’v installed plenty of other mods before with the simple task of just dropping the jar into the mods folder, but this mod and its contents do not show up at all.
