Mission: Mushroom Rescue is the sequel to Mission: CANINE RESCUE and is no doubt a spectacular map that’s more than capable of keeping players entertained for hours upon hours. The map builds itself on the fundamentals that its predecessor laid out and makes quite a lot of improvements to the already top-notch formula in order to make things considerably more enjoyable than they were in the previous map. Saying that this particular map is better than its predecessor is definitely something because Mission: CANINE RESCUE! was very well designed and could get any player hooked from the very first minute.
In Mission: Mushroom Rescue map, the evil Dr. Ramsbottom has returned, and this time he’s trying to abduct the whole city’s population of mushrooms in order to turn them into mushroom steak through his new steakhouse. However, you and Dr. Roberto must join together to somehow stop Dr. Ramsbottom from succeeding. You’ll need to shut off his force-fields and somehow annihilate his steakhouse completely so he can’t move forward with his plan.
The gameplay of Mission: Mushroom Rescue map features tons of fun stuff such as various unique parkour types including Liquid Parkour, Particle Parkour, and even Animated Structure parkour. Due to the unique parkour types that it features, you might have some difficulty getting the hang of things in Mission: Mushroom Rescue! early on but, after some playing, you’ll get settled right into things. The map also features three incredibly high-quality boss fights in which you’ll have to go against the insanely powerful Robo-Guards that Dr. Ramsbottom has created. In the final fight, you’ll get to challenge him directly but will need to figure out how to defeat him with his new overpowered new mutation. Overall, Mission: Mushroom Rescue! is a top notch map that promises to deliver an extremely intense 15-20 minute gameplay.
