How many times have you been playing Minecraft, perhaps chopping down a tree or mining some coal and minding your own business, when out of nowhere a creeper sneaks up on you and blows you (and everything you’ve worked so hard to collect) into dust? This is the sort of thing which defines Minecraft, but it’s also the sort of thing many players hate. The Nearby Mob Finder mod will ensure occurrences like this never happen again by giving the player a fair warning about any mobs which might be nearby in the world. It tracks hostile mobs and lists off their names and coordinates when you try to sleep, but can’t.
Though its use is limited, that doesn’t stop you from carrying around a bed to occasionally right click it and see if anything is lurking nearby. There’s a feature in the configuration file which you can enable and, when you do, it will tell you all about nearby mobs in a given radius (also defined by that config file) whenever you press the U key. While some players will consider the Nearby Mob Finder mod to be cheating without a doubt, others will be more than happy to utilize this tool which will save them from countless cheap deaths.

so cool
First of all this horrible mod only works when you try to sleep?
And wouldn’t it be better if the mod showed you the mobs on a minimap? Conclusion, this mod is horrible and completely useless.
useless without a doubt undoubtedly
Does it work for modded mobs or bosses?
