Ninja Mod for Minecraft 1.7.10/1.6.4

Minecraft’s Ninja Mod might bring to mind anime like Naruto, but this is not just a clone of that popular (but unfinished) mod. Basically, this mod implements a number of new melee weapons like katanas, along with shurikens to attack from a range. It also adds one structure, the dojo, which will spawn randomly in areas throughout a newly generated world. Getting back to the katanas, you have a standard weapon just for slicing and then four different elemental variants – fire, water, earth and wind. These all have unique effects when used as tools, as well as in the heat of combat.

Fire katanas will burn things, naturally; they can also be used as a stand-in for flint and steel. Water katanas slow enemies down and can be used like water buckets to fill moats or put out fires. The earth katana poisons enemies and can be used as a farming implement to prepare ground for planting seeds. Last but not least, the wind katana knocks enemies into the sky upon striking. The Ninja Mod works with Minecraft up to version 1.7.10, but it hasn’t been updated in a solid 5 months. This mod could be dead, but it’s still lots of fun to use.
