The Noteblocks Map is a fairly unique and very engaging parkour map by developer Simph, who is the same person behind a variety of other great maps, for example, The Valley, 15 Seconds, and a bunch of others as well. Itโs definitely on the list of the most challenging parkour maps of all time, and this is mainly due to the fact that it utilizes unique mechanics that can be slightly difficult to fully get the hang of at the start. However, once you do master the way this map works, running through all of its challenges becomes one of the most satisfying things ever.
The key feature of the Noteblocks map and the main thing that sets it apart from all other Minecraft maps are the noteblocks that it consists of. In each level, one of these note blocks has been placed somewhere, and if you find it then youโll be teleported directly upwards, and the distance of teleportation will be a total of three blocks. These note blocks add a really fun dynamic to the standard parkour gameplay.
Alongside these, the Noteblocks map also has three other special blocks that add a lot of extra flavor to the gameplay. First and foremost we have the Anvil blocks that summon an Anvil directly above you when stepped on, there are the Packed Ice blocks that give you a boost of swiftness and finally, there are the Spike Blocks thatโll kill you immediately if you ever directly stand on them. These blocks make the map much more challenging, but they also make it more engaging. The map has a total of seven levels, so itโs not necessarily the longest one out there but each and every one of these levels feels unique and distinct so your overall experience will definitely be a memorable one.
