Rainbow Rush is a thrilling parkour map by WaffleBro who you’ll recall is the same person behind a variety of other top of the line maps such as 10 Snakes, Boxed Biomes, Fire Parkour, and CTM Parkour. All maps by WaffleBro tend to display quite a lot of finesse and quality, and this is the case in Rainbow Rush as well. It’s a really engaging and thrilling parkour map that features top of the line gameplay and some spectacular visuals for the players to enjoy as well. There might not be anything groundbreaking or innovative in Rainbow Rush, but it’s definitely worth trying out if you’re looking for an engaging parkour map.
Just like the name implies, Rainbow Rush is a rainbow themed map so expect all the levels to have visuals with the color palette of a rainbow. The map has 35 different levels, and each individual level feels quite enjoyable. The difficulty of the map isn’t all that high, but you’ll certainly have to try hard in the later levels if you wish to overcome them. All the map’s levels have fairly unique designs, so they rarely ever feel repetitive.
One of the most impressive things about the Rainbow Rush map is the fact that it seems to be pretty much bug-free. Every parkour map has its fair share of minor bugs, but this particular map doesn’t seem to have any bugs at all which is quite impressive. The map also comes with a rainbow themed resource pack, but you won’t need to worry about installing the pack since it loads on its own. Rainbow Rush has been designed to work with Minecraft 1.11.2, so you’ll need to make sure that your Minecraft client is up to date before using it in order to avoid compatibility issues.
