As far as mods which add new dimensions to Minecraft may go, the Realms of Chaos mod is notable because it does even more than that. Not only do players get new, never-before-seen dimensions to explore, but they also get all kinds of new items, weapons, armor and other goodies to help them do the job. At present there are a whopping 8 new sets of materials to collect, which lead to dozens of new crafting recipes and just as many items to discover. There are even new items made from materials which already existed in vanilla Minecraft, with recipes a seasoned player might figure out.
The Frozen Ruins and Ocean dimensions both have unique portals which must be crafted before you can access them, much like the Nether or End dimensions which already exist in Minecraft. Both of these portals require some of the new materials introduced by the Realms of Chaos mod, so be on the lookout for blocks and items you’ve never seen before when you are playing with this mod installed. More updates are in the future for this mod and bug fixes and reports are ongoing even now, so it looks like this one will only get better with time.

Keeps crashing for me as well whenever I put it into my mod load list, I cant take every mod out and leave this one and yet it still crashes upon loading I am running 1.8
HEELLPP!!!! CRASH REPORT. Pls help me fix it
how can i get i the new demension
whenever I put the mod in the mods folder and start a new world everytime I check something in the inventory my “internal server” shuts down and displays a crash report. Am I missing something?
Is it required you start a new world to get the portal blocks ? (guessing yes, but asking for a more educated opinion 🙂 )
Im intrested in knowing the same, i installed it last night and wondering if a new game is required
