RMS Queen Mary Map 1.8.9

Like other Minecraft maps based on real world locations and things, the RMS Queen Mary map features a (mostly) realistic interpretation of the subject matter. Essentially it’s just a massive cruise liner with lots of places to explore and see. Walking through it is almost like taking a tour of the actual Queen Mary, which on its own could be pretty cool if you happen to be a boat buff. As could be expected of such a map, you’ll find yourself on a boat in the middle of the ocean with no land around for dozens of chunks in every direction.

It’s nice enough, but if you don’t like feeling like you’re trapped or stuck in one location, you might be bothered by the RMS Queen Mary map. However, the ship does come with lots of amenities. There is a tennis court up on the top deck along with a casino, a theater for taking in a show, and even a restaurant, the Queen’s Grille. Obviously, this map is a lot more fun if you’re playing with a handful of other people – on your own, it’s just a big, empty place without much going on inside. Give it a try if you’re looking for something to do on the water.

How to Install RMS Queen Mary Map

Press the Windows or Start button, then press R. This will open the Run prompt.
Type %appdata% into the prompt and run the command.
A folder filled with other folders will now open. Just find the Minecraft folder among these and open it.
In .minecraft you will find another folder, saves. Unzip and move your world file into this folder and you’re all done.
