StalCraft 2 is a mod for players who aren’t satisfied with the array of weapons offered by vanilla Minecraft and want to add a bit more flair to the game’s combat system. There are multitudes of similar mods out there that add new weapons into the game but StalCraft 2 is definitely unique, and this is mainly due to the tier system that it brings to the table. This is a mod that we absolutely recommend players to try out because it’s based on a fairly unique concept and, in turn, can breathe new life into your gameplay experience.
On paper, it may seem like StalCraft 2 is a pretty generic mod that adds some fairly basic weapons to the game but, as it turns out, this isn’t actually the case, and you’ll get to experience this firsthand when you actually get into the game after applying the mod. The weapons of the StalCraft 2 mod actually have four different levels/tiers, and you can upgrade them as time goes on. Upgraded weapons, as you could guess, have better stats and can allow you to have a much bigger impact. Some weapons go up to level four whereas some weapons go up to level five. Upgrading the weapons may take a bit of effort, but it’s definitely worth it in the end because, as mentioned earlier, they’ll be a lot more impactful.
As for the weapon types, you’ll be able to craft swords from Wood, Stone, Gold, Iron, Emerald and, finally Diamond. The weapon variety of the mod isn’t necessarily its strongest aspect right now, but this is something that can definitely change in the future because more weapons can be added through updates. Overall, though, StalCraft 2 is a great mod that you should look into if you’re looking for an innovative new mod that’ll add more weapon variety to the game.
