The Super Mario resource pack is an incredible resource pack that, as the name implies, has been inspired by the Mario franchise. We’ve seen a lot of resource packs inspired by Super Mario before and, much like all the other packs that came before this one, this one’s incredibly high quality as well. Even if you aren’t a fan of Mario, you’ll still want to try the Super Mario resource pack out because it delivers some delightful visuals that players are going to love. The pack also comes with a variety of special Mario themed elements that you simply cannot find in traditional resource packs so your experience with it will definitely be a refreshing one.
The Super Mario resource pack changes almost every single thing about the game’s visuals other than the sounds and font. The pack’s textures have been inspired directly by the Mario games which is why they look incredibly smooth and carry an insane level of detail. One really nice touch we noticed in this pack is the fact that it replaces the standard bow with the fireball gloves of Mario and the arrows have been replaced by actual fireballs so, much like in the games, you’ll be able to shoot deadly fireballs at absolutely anyone who stands in your path. The Super Mario resource pack also comes with a color palette that’s significantly more vibrant and brighter than what we’ve become used to over the years, and this is why the textures look incredibly lively.
The resolution of the Super Mario resource pack is the standard x16 that most Minecraft packs come with so it’s unlikely that you’ll have trouble with frame-rate, even if you use this pack on a PC with low-end hardware.
