Take Damage Challenge is a short, simple, and yet extremely creative puzzle map that’s sure to test your understanding of Minecraft’s gameplay like never before. Most puzzle maps try to challenge players by making them solve incredibly complex puzzles but the Take Damage Challenge takes a different route. Instead of solving puzzles that are way too complex, you’ll have to do a simple task like taking damage but the catch is that you have to take damage without dying. The idea behind the map is certainly a unique one and it’s exactly what makes it worth trying out.
As mentioned earlier, the goal of the Take Damage Challenge map is to take damage while making sure that your character doesn’t actually die from the damage sustained. There’s no requirement to the amount of damage that you have to take as long as your character lives so, even if you take a single point of damage, you’ll be able to move onto the next level. The levels in this map take place across multiple different rooms and each room gives players multiple ways through which they can inflict damage upon themselves but it’s up to the players to figure out how they can receive damage without it becoming fatal.
It’s worth mentioning that the play time of the Take Damage Challenge map fluctuates quite a bit depending on player skill. If your understanding of Minecraft’s mechanics is solid then you’ll probably be able to breeze through the map in under ten minutes but, on the other hand, if you don’t have a firm grasp of how damage works in this game, it’ll probably take you close to an hour to solve. The Take Damage Challenge map is for single player only and, all things considered, it’s a really enjoyable map that delivers an engaging and refreshing experience.
