Do you want to get your hands on some rare mob drops without actually fighting the mobs to get them? Most Minecraft players would simply switch to Creative mode, or run a command while in standard Survival mode to get access to the item windows and pick out what they want. But that’s not possible for those playing in Hardcore mode. The Peacefulpack mod allows users to grab literally whatever mob drop they want, from spider eyes to string, without the need to fight at all. It’s important to note that this mod isn’t like playing in Creative mode – there are some differences.

You can’t just open a window and pick out the items you want. However, blocks which would normally drop one thing, like spider webs dropping string, will now also drop additional items, like spider eyes. Other, completely new items are added to Minecraft too, like the flax plant, which drops string when cut down. Bones can be dug out of the ground by breaking down fossil blocks which are sometimes found in deep stone trenches. The Peacefulpack mod is a nice addition to Minecraft for those who are bored with the combat system or worried about getting into a fight and dying; a very useful mod for Hardcore mode.
