To the Bat Poles is a delightful mod that implements a tiny piece of functionality into Minecraft but somehow manages to make the game a lot more enjoyable with this tiny little change. The mod revolves around sliding down poles and, if you’ve ever watched superhero shows before or anything that revolves around firemen, you’ll know that these poles are usually what they slide down from before they head out to action. The To the Bat Poles mod allows players to create poles of their own so they can slide down them whenever they want to.

The To the Bat Poles mod basically gives players the ability to stack iron bars on top of one another and, by doing so, players can effectively create enormous poles wherever they want to. Stacking bars is a pretty easy task and doesn’t really require all that much effort, and this is great because it allows players, even inexperienced ones, to create poles in mere minutes. There seems to be no limit to how many iron bars you can stack so you can go as high as you want to but you should also make sure that the top of your pole can actually be reached when you’re creating high poles.

Other than the ability to just build the poles, To the Bat Poles actually allows players to slide down these poles and this is an absolutely delightful thing to do. Once you’ve constructed your pole, all you have to do is jump at the top of it, and you’ll be able to slide all the way down to the bottom. Sliding down poles is extremely fun, but it’s rather fast, so we recommend constructing long poles to make sure that the slide doesn’t end within a second or two.
