The Waypoints mod for Minecraft is one that’ll make your life extremely easier if you’re a player who frequently moves from one place to another. In order to use the Waypoints mod you’ll first of all have to create the waypoints themselves. To create a waypoint all you have to do is place waypoint blocks adjacent to one another to create a structure that’s either 2x1x2 or 3x1x3. Once you have this structure you can give it whatever name you want. Next, all you have to do is link the waypoint that you’ve created to another waypoint that you created some time before. When all of this is done you will be able to immediately move between the waypoints that you’ve linked to one another and this will save a significant amount of your time.

The mod works really well except for teleporting between dimensions. I placed one in the end and used that to return to the overworld and then lost the ability to break any blocks. The game acted like I was trying to mine blocks within the spawn zone. I was able to fix it by using the waypoint to return to the end and then returning to the overworld through the end portal.
I like this one. It gives a teleportation/waypoint option that you have to work for and doesn’t give away too much as the minimaps often do.
