Historically, World Edit has been one of the most powerful tools in existence for Minecraft players looking to build massive constructs. The WorldEditCUI mod gives players a special interface for their WorldEdit plugin which allows them to choose their region, either in-game or in real time. This lets players work more quickly, allowing them to copy, craft, build and flatten faster than if they were just using WorldEdit alone. According to the mod’s author, WorldEditCUI is especially useful when working with Cylinder, Convex Hull and Polygon selections when doing your editing.
If you don’t have much experience using WorldEdit already, this addition isn’t going to help you figure it out. It is recommended that you fool around on WorldEdit for a while first, using it in a junk world you won’t miss until you understand the various functions and what they do, as well as which shapes are best when working in specific areas. The WorldEditCUI mod is more of a step up than something to start with – it adds more features and commands which will simply make WorldEdit very hard to learn if you add them to all the commands and features already present in the basic mod.
Not to say WorldEdit is basic. It’s one of the most advanced Minecraft mods available to date. It’s just a little less intimidating without all the extra stuff added by the WorldEditCUI mod. It is very important that you have the latest version of LiteLoader for whatever version of Minecraft you are using. This mod is not designed to work with Forge and you must have LiteLoader if you want it to work. This may interfere with your other installed mods, but you can always switch back to Forge and those mods once you’ve created the world you want using LiteLoader and this mod.
How to install WorldEditCUI Mod?
- Download and install LiteLoader for your version of Minecraft!
- Download the latest version of the WorldEditCUI LiteLoader or Forge and copy it to your mods folder.

It seems to be broken… Follow install instructions. Minecraft is 1.12.2. Forge is 1.12.2-14.23.1.2555. Liteloader snapshot is 1.12.2. Then I noticed that the world edit file says 1.12.1….. Got the versions of liteloader and forge for 1.11.1 and tried it all with that version. Also tried using the liteloader as standalone, not with forge. Didn’t work. Forge works fine, it loads up as expected. Don’t know if the problem is with liteloader, or the mod, but it’s not usable as is.
I downloaded it mistakenly thinking it is world edit (but saw there’s no world edit mod on minecraft 1.11 so I just created lan craftbukkit server for myself), but I was to lazy to remove it, and when I used normal world edit, this mod was very helpful!
you can get it in forge on:
http://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/worldedit
This is the mod, and the only mod i’ll use at this moment. I like progress, so i run MC 1.8.9 and my spigot server has only plugins. I would start with the liteloader and placing the mod in my game folder’s mod folder, it just works right out of the box. I kinda used forge in the past, but it seems that plugins via server work so much better than MC in Forged mode using clientside MODs. No offense on the peeps who like mods, i think that this WorldEditCui should also become available for servers, so that it works from one point and not several different user’s view. Hope the builders of this mod consider it to Plugin……. (crossing my fingers, while pausing from the keyboard!)
Thanks…
yeah //wand wont work because this is “Worldedit cui”. in order to use //wand u must have “Worldedit wrapper”.
Lol
wut is that
The mod works for me however whenever I try and start up a world or join a server it won’t let me get out of the esc menu ;n;
not working in 1.8
D:
as of right now WE is compatible with 1.8 forge and as said in the description lite-loader does not work alongside forge and as this mod should always be used with world edit it would be amazing if you could make it for forge.
Thank you!
Excuse me for being, shall I say ‘pedantic’ but Liteloader works perfectly alonside forge :P.
Just install Forge, then use the Liteloader installer to add the liteloader to the forge profile. I hope that helps 🙂
