Bunker Mod for Minecraft 1.8/1.7.10

After your Minecraft home has had a side exploded out by creepers for the 12th time or so, you’re probably at the point where you just want it to stop. It’s frustrating, totally random and awfully irritating, especially since they literally creep up on you without making a sound, sometimes lurking right outside your front door just waiting to wreak havoc on your home. The Bunker Mod can help with this thanks to all the explosion resistant blocks the mod adds. Using these to create the outer wall of your home will do a great job or protecting the rest of the building.

Now, you might be wondering why you should use the Bunker Mod when you could just farm obsidian, or maybe surround your home with a ring of lava to discourage creepers from getting close enough to blow it up in the first place. Well, both of these things take some time, and obsidian requires you to find a few diamonds and craft a pick before you can mine it, as well as a ton of time since it takes so long to break. The Bunker Mod is safe, fast and easy, but most important is the fact you don’t need any special gear to harvest or use the blocks for construction.

The Bunker Mod isn’t just about making homes that can’t be blown up either. It features a number of special construction blocks like invisible doors and buttons, a super secure safe block, and more. The mod is about making a nice, safe bunker and then filling it with nice, safe things, just like a bunker ought to be. It’s actually a perfect mod for use on Factions servers, where exploits allow players to blow holes in bases using bugged TNT cannons and sand. Unlike obsidian and other blocks which can be broken in this way, the blocks in this mod simply can’t be blown up.
