3D Maneuver Gear Mod for Minecraft 1.9.4/1.8.9/1.7.10

The name of the 3D Maneuver Gear mod will probably sound familiar to you if you’ve ever seen the anime Attack on Titan. If you don’t know what it is then 3D Maneuver Gear, also often referred to as 3DMG, is a set of equipment that allows the user to traverse through the sky by grappling onto walls and buildings. This mod basically implements the exact same thing into Minecraft, and it’s an absolute blast to use. Just one thing that you will need to remember about this mod is that it requires the Baubles mod by Azanor to be installed beforehand in order to function properly.

In order to use to the features of this mod, you’ll first have to craft two different things, the Maneuver Gear itself and the Maneuver Gear handle. The Maneuver gear is equipped in the belt slot, and the handles are dual wielded so you’ll need to have one in each hand. As you could tell, each of the handles is operated by the respective click of each hand. There are a few complex mechanics to get the hang of with this mod such as how the grapples work and how you’re supposed to draw weapons mid-flight so it’ll probably take a while to get used to.

Once you’ve mastered the 3D Maneuver Gear mod, you’ll be able to travel around the game world of Minecraft in a completely new and exciting fashion. Zipping between the structures is an insanely fun thing to do, and you’ll be able to view the world from a whole new perspective while doing so. However, while you’re moving around such fashion, one thing that you simply cannot forget is that the fall damage is actually quite significant, so if you end up failing to land a proper hook onto a structure, then you might have to pay for it with a big chunk of your health bar.

How to install 3D Maneuver Gear Mod?

1. Download the latest version of the Minecraft Forge installer.
2. Run the installer and select client/server.
3. Start Minecraft using the Forge profile.
4. Exit the game.
5. Download the <3D Maneuver Gear> and <Baubles> below and place it in the mods folder.
6. Re-launch Minecraft and have fun!
