The Aqua Creepers mod will make you completely rethink just how much you hate creepers in Minecraft. There’s no doubting the fact that creepers are some of the most annoying entities that this game has to offer because they can sneak up on you from anywhere and generally end up ruining your day by either completely distracting you from what you were doing or by exploding and causing, even more, chaos if you take the time out to actually fight them. No one really wants to willingly encounter creepers and, fortunately, they can’t reach underwater so you can retreat their for some peace. However, this mod makes it so that not even the waters are free from these creatures.
The Aqua Creepers mod basically implements water based creepers into Minecraft that wander around the oceans in search of pray. These aqua creepers look fairly similar to traditional creepers, but they have a blue color scheme that actually looks a lot cooler and more fitting since they’re underwater. It’s also worth mentioning that their models have also been altered so that they look like actual fish. They’re also much smaller than creepers usually are but don’t be fooled by this size because they’re capable of causing just as much, if not more, havoc. If all this wasn’t enough, these water based creepers can even leap out at you even if you’re standing on land but are still close to the water, so you’ll need to be extra careful.
One thing that sets the creepers of the Aqua Creepers mod apart from traditional ones is that they’re much faster because they have the advantage of being underwater. If you’re swimming on your own then you can be sure that they’re going to catch up to you but, even if you’re on a boat, they’ll still eventually swim underneath it and explode.
