Comforts Mod

Comforts is an insanely useful Minecraft mod that has been designed solely with convenience in mind. The mod basically gives players the ability to rest whenever they’re outside without disrupting their spawn points. In Minecraft, home bases are generally set as spawn points but these spawn points can easily be changed when players are out and about in the world of Minecraft. Fortunately, though, the Comforts mod gives players the ability to rest easy when they’re outside on adventures and, by giving players convenient ways through which their characters can rest, the mod makes sure that spawn points aren’t changed in any way.

The Comforts mod basically adds sleeping bags and hammocks into the world of Minecraft and these items are used for the same purpose as they’re used in the real world which is, of course, to rest during adventures and long journeys. The best part about the items in this mod is the fact that they’re not difficult to craft at all so you’ll be able to get your hands on them fairly easily as long as you’re able to acquire basic resources that are used for most crafting processes. The first item featured in the mod is the sleeping bag that players can craft by using three pieces of matching color wool and the second is the hammock that can be crafted with sticks and a piece of colored wool.

It’s worth mentioning that, while most of the functionality of the sleeping bag and the hammock is the same, one difference is the fact that hammocks can only be used during the daytime and cannot be stacked whereas sleeping bags can be stacked easily and can be used no matter what time it is. Overall, Comforts is an insanely useful mod that truly does add quite a bit of comfort to the way Minecraft is played.

Comforts Mod Features

• Sleeping Bag:

The recipe for the sleeping bag is simply three pieces of matching color wool in a straight line.

You can also dye a regular White Sleeping Bag into any of the other colors!

• Hammock:

The recipe for the hammock cloth is simply a piece of colored wool in the center, sticks to the top and bottom, and the rest of the slots are strings.

You can also dye a regular White Hammock Cloth into any of the other colors!

Building a Hammock

In order to build a hammock, you need a piece of hammock cloth. The recipe for one is illustrated above. You will also need two sets of Rope and Nail. Now, you need to find some blocks that are exactly four spaces apart.

Once you’ve found a suitable location, place the two sets of Rope and Nail on the logs so that they’re facing each other.

Now grab your hammock cloth and right-click either one of the Rope and Nail.

And voila! You’re ready to take some quality naps even when it’s bright and sunny outside.

How to install Comforts Mod?

1. Download and install the recommended Minecraft Forge for your Minecraft version.
2. Download the latest mod version for your Minecraft version.
3. Put the .jar file into the mods folder of your Minecraft installation.
