With October upon us and Halloween right around the corner, it doesn’t really come as a surprise that Halloween themed content has started to surface for the game. Halloween Pack is among the first of 2019’s Halloween inspired content for Minecraft and, overall, it’s definitely a great way to kick things off as this is a gorgeous looking resource pack with a variety of delightfully creepy visuals to offer and a pretty authentic and immersive Halloween vibe overall. If you’re a fan of Halloween and want to get into the spirit a little early then Halloween Pack is definitely for you.
The Halloween Pack resource pack doesn’t completely revamp the visuals of Minecraft and turn the entire game world into a dark and ominous place but, instead, the pack adds a variety of Halloween themed touches on top of the vanilla visuals of Minecraft to ensure that players can get into the Halloween spirit but still enjoy the iconic feel of vanilla Minecraft. The pack features a variety of different recolors that certainly aid the Halloween atmosphere, a variety of Halloween themed foods and dyes, full-fledged graveyards that’ll be replacing the tall ferns of vanilla Minecraft and, to round all this off, a top notch GUI that’s plenty spooky.
The textuers of Halloween Pack have a resolution of 16×16 which, of course, is the default standard so this pack likely isn’t going to cause any performance related troubles as long as you have a system that’ll handle vanilla Minecraft without issues.
