MaplePets Mod for Minecraft 1.7.10

The MaplePets mod for Minecraft has been inspired by the incredible MMORPGs MapleStory and Lineage 2. Both these MMOs are over a decade old and over the years, they’ve gained massive fan followings for themselves. The MaplePets mod aims to add various different pets from these games and implement them into Minecraft to provide players with some refreshing content that’s different from what they usually experience. So, if you enjoyed playing Lineage 2 or MapleStory and are looking to add some extra handheld pets to your Minecraft, then this is surely a mod that you’ll enjoy using quite a lot.

One of the biggest highlights of the MaplePets mod is its absolutely incredible variety. There are multitudes of different pets in it and what’s even more impressive is the fact that each one of these pets has a completely unique design and look which shows that a pretty significant amount of effort and dedication went into making this mod a reality. The pets aren’t just unique in terms of their looks, though; they all offer lots of distinct special effects and bonuses to whoever they’re accompanying. For example, the Water Spirit Pet gives you the ability to breathe underwater, and the Blaze Spirit pet gives a fire resistance aura to all nearby friendly players. Each pet is best suited to a certain play-style and due to the sheer amount of them, you’re sure to find one that fits your preferences and likings the most.

MaplePets is also one of the most well-maintained mods available today. It was originally designed to work with Minecraft 1.7.10 but as of recently, it’s been updated to work seamlessly with Minecraft 1.9 which is great for players who want to use this mod but don’t necessarily want to downgrade their Minecraft client in order to do so.

How to install MaplePets Mod?

1. Make sure Forge is installed
