MegaLoot Mod

Before we go into any specific detail about the MegaLoot mod, we’d like to highlight that it’s actually an evolution of sorts of the Weapon Case Loot mod so, if you’ve used Weapon Case Loot before, then you’re going to find that this mod shares quite a lot of similarities with it. However, it goes without saying that MegaLoot does consist of a variety of its own unique characteristics and features and this is why it’s certainly worth giving a shot to if you’re looking for a mod that’ll revamp the loot system of Minecraft and turn it into something more in-depth.

The MegaLoot mod basically implements cases that consist of items that players can loot. The thing that defines the mod is the fact that each one of the items that it drops through the cases can have one of three different rarities; common, rare and epic. The rarity of the item will, of course, have a heavy influence on the stats of that particular item so the common items will have pretty lackluster stats but, on the other hand, the epic items will have insanely powerful stats whereas the rare items will have stats in-between the stats of both common and rare items.

It’s worth mentioning that, alongside different stats, the items collected through the MegaLoot mod can have a variety of special characteristics as well. For example, there are various kinds of special bows that have the ability to launch multiple shots at the same time and there are special sets of armor that can give players resistance to crowd control effects such as being knocked back. It’s important to point out that the MegaLoot mod requires Baubles to function properly so, if you don’t have Baubles installed beforehand, you won’t be able to utilize the functionality that this mod brings to the table.

How to install MegaLoot Mod?

1. Download and install the recommended Minecraft Forge for your Minecraft version.
2. Download the latest mod version for your Minecraft version.
3. Put the .jar file into the mods folder of your Minecraft installation.
