Minecraft Six Siege is a thrilling PvP map that’s no doubt a step above what we’re used to seeing from this map category. PvP maps in Minecraft are quite intense but most of them utilize the same overused concepts and this is why they don’t usually feel unique or innovative. Minecraft Six Siege, however, goes in the completely opposite direction. The map’s been inspired directly by Rainbow Six Siege which is a tactical first person shooter game and it does an excellent job of replicating Rainbow Six Siege’s gameplay within Minecraft to give players something that’s refreshing and immersive.
If you’ve played Rainbow Six Siege before then you’ll have absolutely no difficulty getting the hang of Minecraft Six Siege’s basics but, if you haven’t played the game that the map’s based on, you’ll need to spend some time getting used to the basics early on. The map has two different team one team plays the role of the defender whereas the other team plays the role of the attacker. The defending team spawns on bomb sites and their goal is to defend the bomb for as long as they can whereas the goal of the attacking team is to siege the defenders so that they can defuse the bomb before it explodes. The gameplay might seem pretty straightforward on paper but it’s highly strategic and an absolute delight to experience. To succeed at this map, you’ll need proper coordination with your teammates and must constantly think of new strategies through which you’ll be able to annihilate your opponents.
It’s important to remember that you’ll need proper sound to experience Minecraft Six Siege properly because sound plays a huge role in the gameplay. With proper sound, you’ll be able to hear enemies through walls and this will tell you their positions. Playing without sound puts players at a massive disadvantage so we highly recommend having a proper sound setup when you play this map because you’ll struggle quite a lot otherwise.
