At the time of writing this, the Modern Guns hasn’t even been out for a full week and it’s already managed to receive quite a bit of praise from the community. We’ve seen quite a few gun based resource packs before but most of them feel rather lackluster since the actual weapon models don’t have that much detail in them but, as it turns out, Modern Guns is here to blow people away. The pack’s textures have been crafted with perfection so, if you’re looking for a near flawless resource pack that’ll implement weapon models into Minecraft, your search should definitely end with Modern Guns.
The Modern Guns pack brings a variety of 3D gun models into Minecraft and each individual model is more impressive than the last. The weapons actually look quite similar to their real world counterparts due to the level of detail that’s been packed into them and their textures are accompanied by a darker than usual color palette that helps enforce the realistic look of the pack. While the weapon textures of Modern Guns are certainly a sight to behold, the thing that actually sets this pack apart from all the rest is the fact that it comes with special aiming textures for each individual weapon and aiming textures are things that we haven’t really seen before in similar packs.
The Modern Guns resource pack has the usual x16 resolution that a lot of players are accustomed to playing at so it’s highly unlikely that the pack will cause any changes to your usual frame-rate if you choose to try it out.
