More Wolves Mod for Minecraft 1.7.10

The More Wolves mod is simple, but beautiful. It adds a number of retextured wolves to give every biome its own unique animal. They are all essentially the same standard wolf you usually find in taiga or snow biomes, but they come with different color schemes when you have this mod installed. In all, there are about ten different wolves, including one for each of the swamp, jungle, desert, forest, mushroom, hills, taiga, beach, ocean and End biomes. The mod works with versions of Minecraft up to 1.7.10, but since there aren’t any new biomes in 1.8, it might work with the latest client as well.

The wolves also interbreed, producing offspring reflective of one of the two parents. This is nice, because you only need to find one of the wolves to get plenty of babies using a standard wolf as the second parent. Basically, that’s all the More Wolves mod does – it doesn’t add any new items, neither to tame nor to feed your new pets. This is the perfect mod for players seeking simple cosmetic changes to their Minecraft world, without really changing the way the game works or plays. It’s definitely worth checking out if you want more wolves.
