The Mutated Mobs mod is for players who aren’t satisfied with the current variety of mobs in Minecraft and want to experience something significantly more challenging when they play. The mod adds special mutant mobs into the game, and each one of these mobs is an absolute pain to deal with because of the various abilities they have in their arsenal. It’s highly recommended that you steer clear of this mod if you aren’t adept at Minecraft’s combat because the mobs are quite strong but, on the other hand, if you’re a skilled player who wants a challenge, this mod is sure to deliver.

Mutated Mobs adds a total of 19 different mobs into the game and each one of these mobs has essentially been made by fusing the abilities and look of two different mods into one and the end result are some incredibly daunting and powerful mobs that can deal a fair bit of damage to anyone who stands in their path. Out of these 19 mobs, 14 are hostile, 3 are neutral, and 2 are passive. Since most of the mobs are purely hostile, you’ll need to tread very carefully, or you might get caught out by one of them while unprepared.

Onto the moves themselves, the Mutated Mobs mod features mobs like the Blaze Skeleton that can fly and shoot fire arrows, the Ender Skeleton that can teleport and deal a significant amount of damage, the Shulker Ghast that can float around and shoot Shulker bullets, the Slime Creeper that’ll split into smaller Slime Creepers upon explosion and, much like all of these mobs, there are various others as well that are quite powerful. All said and done, Mutated Mobs Is a mod that’s perfect for veterans who want more of a challenge when playing Minecraft.
