Taken 2: The Escape is the successor to the critically acclaimed Taken map that came out a while back. This is an exceptional map that builds on the success of its predecessor, and it does an excellent job of remedying the minor issues that the first one had in order to give players an immersive and engaging experience thatโs definitely a step above what traditional adventure maps have to offer. If youโve played the first map in this series then we definitely urge you to try this one out but, if you havenโt, we highly recommend playing the first Taken map before this one for the full-fledged experience.
The plot of Taken 2: The Escape resumes where the first one left off. You finally managed to defeat the dragon but were captured by Herobrine and his guards who placed you in a cage. Now, youโre lying helplessly in the cage while having no idea whatโs happening to your family. Itโs now up to you to figure out a way to break from this prison, take down the people who locked you up, and then get back to your family before itโs too late. It wonโt be an easy task, but itโs one that you must accomplish for the sake of your family and yourself.
The gameplay of Taken 2: The Escape feels highly reminiscent of that of the first one, but itโs definitely seen a few improvements as everything feels a lot smoother and faster paced. The map lasts somewhere between 60 to 90 minutes, but this timing can, of course, vary depending on how skilled you are at playing Minecraft adventure maps. Overall, Taken 2: The Escape is an extraordinary map that definitely lives up to all expectations, and this is why you simply must give it a shot.
