The Fallout Mod is the definite mod for Minecraft fans who are also loyal fans to the Fallout series. The post-apocalyptic world never looked better than it does right here in this mod and that’s a fact. This thing is comprehensive – it’s got practically every item from Fallout 3 including fully functional guns and special types of armor. Not bows that are reskinned to look like guns but actual guns that fire bullets. If you’ve been looking for your Fallout fix in Minecraft, you’ve found it in this mod.
The Fallout Mod even includes things you don’t find in other mods, like all of the different combat drugs – psycho, buffout, jet and other chems make an appearance here and they even come with an inherent probability of causing addiction if you use them. This mod brings your Minecraft gameplay about as close to Fallout as is possible without actually turning off Minecraft and turning on Fallout instead. It’s amazing, really, and it’s still not even finished. The items listed are all implemented already; there are still more updates, items and additions planned for this mod, and that’s excellent news.
The mod works as it is right now, so if it sounds good to you then you don’t need to wait for any updates or other nonsense before trying it. Go and give it a look for yourself and you’ll see just how deep this mod is. There are literally hundreds of additional items, weapons, armor, drugs, foods, potions, antidotes, bullets and other things added by The Fallout Mod. It would naturally go very well with a number of different Fallout themed texture and resource packs from around the net too, though it’s hard to say which would be the best one for this. There’s nothing stopping you from trying a bunch.
