TNT is probably one of the most versatile items in vanilla Minecraft. It can be used to quickly blow up obstructions while digging, fired from cannons to explode an entrance into your enemyโs base, or used for traps to kill people who trespass too close to your vaults. There is a whole new world of other possibilities revealed when you try out the TNT Olympics map. This one features a number of events that resemble events from the real Olympics, but many of them have custom tweaks and quirks, with the majority utilizing TNT blocks in some fun, crazy way.
The full list of events includes favorites like javelin throwing, the balance beam, hurdles, vaulting, and even swimming, just to name a few. To get the most out of TNT Olympics, youโll probably want to play on Creative mode, or with mods to make players immune to damage. All that TNT will cause a lot of damage to the actual arena itself too, so be sure to keep a backup copy of TNT Olympics saved somewhere in case you want to quickly reload it and play it again. The biggest obstacle to enjoying this map is finding enough competitive people to make the events fun.
