World of Minecraft is an absolutely gorgeous resource pack that, at the time of writing this, has only been out for a day and it’s already managed to receive quite a lot of praise and critical acclaim from pretty much anyone who’s had the chance to try it out. As you might have guessed from the name, the pack has been inspired by the World of Warcraft universe, and its goal is to fuse these games together by bringing the visuals of Warcraft into the world of Minecraft. World of Warcraft inspired packs have always been a thing, but this one seems to be a step above the rest so you’d definitely be missing out if you don’t try it out.
The World of Minecraft resource pack is a lot more ambitious than all the other Warcraft themed packs out there because, instead of giving the visuals a simple twist, it actually aims to import pretty much every single asset of the Warcraft universe into the world of Minecraft and this, of course, is no easy task. The pack comes with handmade textures, special features like animated and CTM textures, delightful sound effects and music and tons upon tons of other visual aspects that you’re going to love looking at.
The World of Minecraft resource pack has a relatively high resolution of x128, so it doesn’t really come as a surprise that you’ll need a high-end PC to use it without running into trouble with frame-rate. It goes without saying that, since the pack just came out, it’s still a work in progress but, given the creator’s ambition, it probably won’t be long before the pack’s fully completed with all the textures and other assets.
